The Girl in the Circus
She was born and raised in a small town in the interior, on the heights of Cima da Serra. It was always something new for the circus to arrive, once a year, they set up the tent and the arena, wooden stands and put on the greatest show on earth. Of course, as a child everything seems bigger and more spectacular. Now an adult, she remembers her childhood days, and even with the circus empty, she lets her imagination create… a sensual and enigmatic character, in short, a fashion superstar. This image brings the possibility of imagining what a beautiful woman would do, alone in a small and empty circus, in a country town on the heights of Cima da Serra. Photographed in 2002 for the Body Way collection, entirely with 400 ISO black and white negative. I used Ilford HP5 and Kodak TriX film, Hasselblad 6x6 camera. It will add a captivating mood and vintage charm to your space, stirring curiosity and emotion with every glance.
