The work "Untitled (2016)" revolves around the fundamental conflict between culture and nature. Human hubris, which drives toward control and planning, encounters the unpredictability and immensity of the organic. Reason and control conflict with emotion, growth, and an open engagement that resists co-optation.
In the background, the question of which direction our global culture is developing—whether it will erupt in destruction or change—is lurking.… From today's perspective, it seems almost like a portent to me: an atmosphere of impending conflict was already in the air, even before it became openly apparent in Europe.
