In Off the Wall, the leopard emerges in an unexpected setting: a tennis court transformed into a dreamlike landscape. The geometric lines of the game converse with hedges, palm trees, and a sky painted in layered bands of colour, where the energy of movement merges with an atmosphere of serenity.
The painting plays with the tension between discipline and freedom —between the strict rule of the line and the instinctive power of the animal. The leopard… becomes a force that disrupts order, suggesting intuition and vitality breaking through imposed structures.
The title alludes both to breaking boundaries and to leaping into a new dimension of imagination. It is a reflection on energy, transformation, and the possibility of finding beauty where worlds collide.
