Trace – Klein explores presence through subtraction.
The monochromatic surface, inspired by the intensity of blue, welcomes an almost imperceptible vertical gesture, a trace that emerges only in relation to the light.
The work does not impose itself, but reveals itself slowly: the barely hinted sign invites an intimate and silent observation, where matter becomes space and color becomes depth.
In this tension between the visible and the invisible,… the pictorial gesture transforms into presence, leaving the viewer the time and space to complete the experience.
