About this artwork
This painting was created in two stages. Originally created with oil paints on canvas in 2003, the entire background—the sand and the sea—was modified in 2024, replacing the existing background with fluid acrylic paints poured directly onto the canvas and worked with a palette knife. The main figure, however, was left untouched and is the original from 2003. In this work, I wanted to capture the pure essence of freedom and fusion with nature. The…
