About this artwork
This watercolor landscape painting, taken from life, is a monkey island in the Jerusalem Zoo.
Watercolor is one of my favorite painting tools. There are many types of paper, watercolor paintbrushes. Painting with watercolors is akin to meditation: you paint and dream at the same moment. Watercolors have some inexplicable quality - spontaneity.
Thanks to this unpredictability, no picture will be exactly the same. A huge variety of animals and birds… live in a unique natural landscape and in natural conditions. Picture painted on high-quality paper 300 g without oxide. I use different colors from different companies, but all of them are of the highest quality.
