I love to write flowers. This is the theme that allows you to reveal a rich palette and enjoy the joy of painting itself. I love to study the very shape of a flower. I also "play" with various painting techniques. In this painting I used the technique of monotype and also an abundance of Italian butter.

« My mission is to capture the beauty of the moment, the here and now, giving it to the viewer. »
Maria Timofeeff is an experienced artist based in Russia whose paintings have been featured in numerous solo exhibitions nationally. For her, art is not logical, nor is it predictable. Rather, it is an area of absolute freedom and beauty. Timofeeff describes her artistic practice as being impulsive, emotional, and pictorial. Her diversely themed compositions are primarily created with oils on canvas.
