About this artwork
I created In Brugge during a time when I was spending long periods in that city, a place that felt deeply atmospheric and inspiring to me.
This image was taken inside a private gallery, surrounded by artworks with a strong sense of mysticism and presence. Being there, I felt like a muse among the muses—a space where I could exist without judgment and express myself freely.
I was simply responding to the energy of the environment. There is a quiet… dialogue between the body and the space, where the figure feels both present and absorbed into the mood of the light and surroundings.
The use of colour brings depth and mystery, while softer light adds an intimate, almost cinematic atmosphere.
Printed on 310 gsm Hahnemühle German Etching paper, this piece is part of an ultra-limited edition of only 5 prints. Each is signed and includes a Certificate of Authenticity.
