About this artwork
I created Prey and Predator during a time in my life when I felt both vulnerable and in control, something I have often experienced within relationships with the opposite sex.
There is a constant shift between these states, where attraction and instinct blur the line between observing and being seen. In this piece, I explore that duality through the feline form—playful, free, yet instinctive and aware of its own power.
The mask creates anonymity… while intensifying presence, allowing the body and posture to hold a quiet tension between invitation and restraint. I exist in both roles at once.
Printed on 310 gsm Hahnemühle German Etching paper, this piece is part of an ultra-limited edition of 50 prints. Each is signed and includes a Certificate of Authenticity.
