About this artwork
I created Poet and Muse during my time in a private gallery in Bruges, a space where I felt deeply at home, surrounded by works that seemed to understand me.
In this image, I stand before a portrait of Oscar Wilde, drawn into a quiet and intimate exchange. There was a sense of recognition, as if my experiences were met and held in a silent conversation beyond time.
I did not feel separate from the muses around me, but connected to them—embraced… by their presence. In that moment, I felt both vulnerable and at ease.
For me, this piece is about that unspoken dialogue, where art becomes a place of refuge, and where identity and inspiration meet.
Printed on 310 gsm Hahnemühle German Etching paper, this piece is part of an ultra-limited edition of 50 prints. Each is signed and includes a Certificate of Authenticity.
