In this painting, I poured my soul into capturing the restless spirit of nature—its raw textures and shifting moods. The swirling sky and vibrant water radiate energy, while the rugged mountains anchor a sense of mystery. I wanted to evoke the wild pulse of the landscape, inviting awe and transformation. This piece is designed to fill a space with dynamic emotion and timeless wonder.
This is a 3D chromatic and interactive painting based on the peaks… of Mount Lawrence at the Grassi massif in Canmore, Alberta. Having hiked these trails and experienced the profound depths of light present at the mountain ponds, I was compelled to translate that movement into a kinetic painting. The work utilizes chromatic mapping to create a volumetric experience, inviting the viewer to step directly into the atmosphere of the Rockies. During the 'Chemin Poétique' exhibition, viewers are provided with specialized glasses to interact with these frequencies.
