Featured in the solo exhibition 'Chemin Poétique' (Edmonton, 2026), these acrylic studies serve as the structural DNA for my cement sculptures, which are on display in the show.
I explored the balance between atmospheric chaos and geometric calm, using bold strokes to map the fluid energy of alpine minerals. Each sketch acts as a meditative blueprint—marking points of 'rust' and 'oxydated water' where the physical sculpture eventually meets the… earth. This series brings a dynamic, architectural energy to any space, revealing the deliberate process behind the mountain’s form."
