About this artwork
"Reflection" is an illustration made with colored pencils (Faber Castell polychromos) on paper. It speaks of a woman who shows herself as she is, trying to go beyond the taboos of the physique and the canons of beauty, to see differently the "imperfections" of her image, to accept her body as it is, to cherish it and to love it, both for herself but also to help and encourage others to accept themselves as they are, at their own pace.
