About this artwork
In this elegantly woven semi-abstract tapestry I interwoven bands of fabrics which organic hues conceal the enchantment inherent of the elements of nature, transposed in strips of silk, linen, cotton, polyester and mixed fibers. The use of dark, linear colours adds constrast and structure to the piece, guiding the viewer across the canvas.

Marie-Ghislaine BEAUCE melds textiles and found objects, drawing her inspiration from fabrics and the Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Nantes.
