In the creation of this textile piece, I explored the harmony and contrast of nature using semi-abstract forms and the transposition of 15 century color palette into a contemporary tapestry. Woven with cotton velvet, linen and silk fabrics, each stripe and block of color represents the rhythmic patterns found in the natural world.
