About this artwork
In this mixed fabrics tapestry, based on a composition in gouache, colored ink and felt pen, I translated into weaving an abstract narrative, guiding the eye with organic movements against structured grids. The interplay of colors and textures with added abstract shapes of crochet knitted white cotton and navy blue silk yarns embodies both the chaos and harmony that I perceive in the world.
