Small feminine bust, timeless, suggesting the softness but also the wounds of a being. A poetic image extracted from a moment of life allowed me to materialize this bust hoping to touch the one who looks at it and by this very fact, trigger emotions or meaning. For this universe filled with poetry where the work of textures, materials, is fully expressed, she uses a high temperature chamotte white stoneware (1250 ° C).

Marie-Madeleine Vitrolles is a sculptor based in France whose works have been featured in solo exhibitions nationally, as well as in Switzerland and Luxembourg. While her pieces are mostly centered around women, it is the human being that challenges her. Through her art, Vitrolles endeavors to show the multifaceted aspects of her subject's inner worlds. Evolving between classical representation and the purification of forms, she primarily sculpts in clay.
