About this artwork
Slender and feminine silhouette in colors of fire, ochre, the details of her body are barely suggested. In this work, I wanted to express a tender force, a little mischievous she remains sensual and proud like the timeless woman.

Marie-Madeleine Vitrolles is a sculptor based in France whose works have been featured in solo exhibitions nationally, as well as in Switzerland and Luxembourg. While her pieces are mostly centered around women, it is the human being that challenges her. Through her art, Vitrolles endeavors to show the multifaceted aspects of her subject's inner worlds. Evolving between classical representation and the purification of forms, she primarily sculpts in clay.
