About this artwork

I Dream to give hugs, to travel and not to be afraid to get sick. I used happy colours, circles and square to feel alive and free. I listened to my favourite songs from the 80’s dreaming of freedom. How it makes you feel?
I added some in progress pictures with my feelings of the moment.

I use only professional golden paint, heavy professional canvas and UVLS varnish.

Marie Manon Corbeil is a Canadian contemporary artist whose vibrant paintings are represented in private collections across 23 countries. Having sold more than 1,000 original artworks in 23 countries throughout her career, she has built a strong international reputation for creating emotionally engaging paintings that combine expressive colour, intuitive mark-making, and a distinctive visual language.

Based in Calgary, Alberta, Marie creates uplifting works that celebrate happiness, empowerment, and the strength of women.

Marie gained international recognition through Singulart, where she became one of the platform’s top-selling artists, with more than 300 original paintings acquired by collectors worldwide. Her work has been exhibited internationally in Paris, London, and Vienna.

She is a juried member of the Women’s Art Association of Canada.
