About this artwork
It shows the courage of women in Iran who have long fought for women's rights there. The death of Mahsa Amini was the catalyst for the protest against the veil. The female figure in the center is a reminder of Narges Mohammadi, who was imprisoned for a long time for her work in the women's movement.
The painting style is rather rough and quite abstract. It's about hope, passion, and the courage of women. The strong color contrasts underscore the… powerful aura emanating from the painting.
