About this artwork
Dark Pulse — Maria Ruisi, 2024–2026
Sculptural relief, mixed media, marble powder, 50 × 50 cm, unique work
Dark Pulse constructs a rhythmic wall of vertical ridges sculpted in deep anthracite and graphite black, whose surface captures light in shifting metallic tones. A single band breaks the rhythm—a dense field of perforated black grid integrated into the composition like a pulse, a fracture in the surface's stillness.
Sculptural composition… enriched with marble powder, providing mineral depth and a refined tactile texture. Handwritten poem on the back.
Deep black frame, integrated hanging system. Lifetime gallery warranty.
