About this artwork
The name "anemone" comes from the Greek word for wind, "anemos," because the blossoms often open when a breeze blows. For this photo, I let the three anemones dance in the wind. The white blossoms with a hint of violet are beautifully balanced with the delicate green foliage. Symbolically, the anemone represents innocence, purity, sincerity, and truth.
