About this artwork
This is a continuation of her response to the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill in the Gulf of Mexico, Florida, USA in 2010, pouring tons of oil into the ocean. This was the largest marine oil spill in the history of the petroleum industry. It was Reactor No. 4 that exploded at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. Both were ecological disasters and both areas have not yet fully recovered.
