About this artwork
In my work, a world beyond the concrete manifests itself, half hidden in the soft layers of gouache and tempera. Floating between reality and dream worlds, I have created a semi-abstract landscape that encourages the viewer to think while at the same time creating a calming presence in any room. The pastel tones and gentle transitions give your home an atmosphere of peace and contemplation.

German artist Marion Niessing, born in 1956, works with media such as film, painting and drawing. Her theme is the relationship between material and color. She studied at the Technical College in Münster (1976-1980) and at the Art Academy Münster as a master student of Prof. Günther Keusen (1980).
