About this artwork
This work was born at a time when I needed to let color speak before words. Before the blank canvas, I wasn't looking for a precise image, but rather a space where the gesture could move freely. The first brushstrokes were instinctive, almost impulsive, and from there the color began to forge its own path.
Each layer has become a trace of that moment: a meeting of energy, matter, and movement. Some marks remain violent, others more silent, but… all are part of the same creative flow that transformed the initial void into something alive.
I chose the title Evento Cromatico because for me this work represents precisely this: a moment in which color is not just painting, but becomes experience, gesture and presence on the canvas.

"My painting is born from gesture. Through color, texture, and movement, I try to make visible energies and emotions that have no precise form, but that we can all perceive."
My research develops through multiple artistic lines, which I consider complementary tools for expressing visions, emotions, and complex reflections. I primarily use paint on canvas and wood, ranging from abstraction, religious symbolism, and the female nude, with a particular focus on the theme of violence against women.
I'm convinced that being an artist today also means taking the freedom to explore, to reject rigid labels, and to construct a profoundly authentic language. "I don't create decorations: I create emotions to be owned.
