About this artwork
"Fire" was born at a moment when I felt a restless force within me, difficult to contain. It wasn't anger, nor just passion: it was pure, vital energy, as if something were asking to be released through color. I began to paint without sketches, without thought, letting the red, orange, and yellow ignite on their own, one upon the other, until they created the incandescent movement that now lives on the canvas. In this work, I wanted to express the…
power of transformation, because fire doesn't just destroy, it purifies, opens to the new. As I painted it, I felt my uncertainties burning away, giving way to something truer, more essential. "Fire" is the symbol of that moment when we allow ourselves to change, to be reborn through our own creative energy. Every time I look at it, it reminds me that within each of us burns a spark ready to illuminate the darkness, if only we have the courage to let it blaze.

Art has always lived within me, like an invisible thread that has run through every stage of my life. I'm a self-taught artist: I've learned through books, documentaries, observation, and research, letting myself be guided by curiosity and wonder.
Life has led me through different worlds: for twenty-five years among flowers, then in the metalworking industry as an office worker, on the roads driving a truck, and among vineyards and the earth. Flowers, Steel, and Earth have left profound marks on my way of feeling: delicacy, strength, and substance.
Today, abstraction and acrylic are my language. Through color, I transform what I can't express into emotion, light, energy, and movement.
I believe a work should speak to the heart first, not the mind. That's why I paint joy and beauty, but also the wounds of our time, particularly violence against women.
I paint what I can't say and let the color tell the story.
