About this artwork
I created the work on a natural section of tree trunk, chosen for its symbolic value: the rings in the wood represent time and memory, like a mother protecting life. The cracks, left visible, evoke fragility and hardship, overcome by maternal love.
The shades of blue and white evoke purity and serenity, while the gentle facial expressions communicate protection and trust. The raised lines make the figures emerge from the wood, emphasizing a deep… and rooted love. The message is clear: maternal love is refuge, strength, and origin, as eternal as the rings of a tree.

"My painting is born from gesture. Through color, texture, and movement, I try to make visible energies and emotions that have no precise form, but that we can all perceive."
My research develops through multiple artistic lines, which I consider complementary tools for expressing visions, emotions, and complex reflections. I primarily use paint on canvas and wood, ranging from abstraction, religious symbolism, and the female nude, with a particular focus on the theme of violence against women.
I'm convinced that being an artist today also means taking the freedom to explore, to reject rigid labels, and to construct a profoundly authentic language. "I don't create decorations: I create emotions to be owned.
