About this artwork
With Silent Scream, I wanted to represent the moment when pain becomes too great to express in words. The figure, naked and curled up, embodies the fragility but also the silent strength of those who have suffered, yet are still present. The intense red of the background evokes physical, emotional, and social violence, while the black shadow enveloping the body represents the invisible weight we often carry within us.
This work is an act of denunciation,… but also of empathy. It is dedicated to all the women who, despite everything, find a way to resist, even in silence.
"How many screams remain locked in a body that no one listens to?"
Numbered work: [Sara] – work II
Each work bears the name of an ordinary woman. None of them is real, yet all could be. It is the body of someone who has been ignored, listened to too late, or never heard. It is a silent tribute to all the 'nobodies' who carry within them the memory of violence.
I consider myself a multifaceted artist by choice. This doesn't limit me, it liberates me without boundaries. I express myself through painting. My research develops through multiple artistic lines, which I consider complementary tools for expressing visions, emotions, and complex reflections. I primarily paint on canvas and wood, ranging from abstraction, religious symbolism, and the female nude, with a particular focus on the theme of violence against women. The multiplicity of languages I adopt isn't fragmentation, but an integral part of a coherent vision. I believe that being an artist today also means taking the freedom to explore, to reject rigid labels, and to construct a profoundly authentic language. "I don't create decorations: I create emotions to be owned. From abstract to figurative, each of my works is created for those who desire art that strikes, moves, and lingers. MY VERSATILITY IS MY SIGNATURE.
