About this artwork
The work stems from a profound… reflection on the condition of women, on the burden of physical, psychological, and social violence that many women carry within them even when the world asks them to smile.
There's no blood, no visible wounds. Yet everything speaks of an internal laceration. The body closes in on itself not to disappear, but to survive. The greenery that surrounds it, with its lively and restless features, represents a world that continues to move, unaware or indifferent, while inside everything is empty.

My research develops through multiple artistic lines, which I consider complementary tools for expressing visions, emotions, and complex reflections. I primarily use paint on canvas and wood, ranging from abstraction, religious symbolism, and the female nude, with a particular focus on the theme of violence against women.
I'm convinced that being an artist today also means taking the freedom to explore, to reject rigid labels, and to construct a profoundly authentic language. "I don't create decorations: I create emotions to be owned.
