About this artwork
Total 6-tych, The Beginning. Acrylic on canvas. Broken egg shells representing the ulimate question; Where did it all start. The title is biblical, the question Darwinian, the answer technical? The Eg and Chicken, what was before what. Scientificly research is getting closer and closer to the absolute beginning of our planet earth, life as we know it, the beginning of the universe. And If the universe has a beginning? does it end too? if it ends… what is before the beginning of the end of that. If it's endless, can we comprehend such conception?. What's inside of an eg is definitely an early life form (if fertile) but still it must be produced by an exiting life-form, which comes from an eg in the first place in order to emerge as new life, and so on.. This is probably a reason why mankind started believing in a God.
« To me, innovation is not a purpose in itself but the result of progressive insight and the need to stretch and push my own boundaries. »
