About this artwork
"The Annunciation" captures the suspended moment of a mystical revelation. At the center of the composition, a luminous void separates and unites two presences: on the left, a winged figure emerges from the fiery vortex, holding a living flame; on the right, a woman weeps, clutching a luminous sphere to her chest, reminiscent of the Earth, fragile and sacred.
The woman's face expresses pain and awareness, as if bearing within her the weight of… a universal message. The shades of deep blue, orange, and pink blend in a circular motion that envelops the figures, evoking a cosmos in turmoil.
This work is not only a heavenly Annunciation, but also a reminder of human responsibility toward the world and toward what is born within us. An encounter between light and darkness, divine and earthly, wound and hope.
