About this artwork
"Alba" is a delicate hymn to the moment when night gives way to day, a moment suspended between dream and awakening. The face of a young figure—ethereal and absorbed—emerges from clouds and vapors like a morning deity, her breath seemingly generating the light that floods the horizon. Around her, the sky dissolves into shades of intense blue, coral red, and golden orange, while the sea reflects the first light with liquid, enveloping vibrations.…
But it's not just light that takes shape: in the reflections of the sea and between the folds of the sky, other floating presences can be glimpsed, reclining bodies, barely visible faces, perhaps dreams still lingering before fading. The work narrates the silent and powerful passage between two worlds—the inner, dreamlike and intimate one, and the outer, awakening one.
“Alba” is an invitation to quiet, to contemplation, to the daily rebirth of feeling.
