About this artwork
Each year Mark participates in the “Art of Flowers” show at the Music Studio in Beaumont. This year he wanted to tackle bluebonnets. These colorful wildflowers are synonymous with Texas and while he had painted them a few times before he wanted to come up with a unique view this time around. the “Art of Flowers” exhibition “Big Blue Love” was selected for the closing extravaganza at the Art Museum of Southeast Texas where an area florist created a floral display inspired by the painting to exhibit together.
