About this artwork
I was drawn to the reflection of the sun rise and the contrasts of warm and cool colors over the sea. Was it a coincidence that I was listening to Rush's album "Test for Echo" as I was painting? With another surgery on my right arm coming up I've spent much of my easel time painting lately painting with my left. These tapestry like abstractions really put the focus on color and light and let me explore the way colors interact with each other on canvas.
