About this artwork
'Casting Ourselves Back Into the Past' depicts a view of room. The room is flooded with light, but that light is dusty and neglected. The original inspiration for this painting came from a glimpsed image of, what he believes is an abandoned Chateau, but the process of painting has given it a new life of sorts.
