About this artwork
He realized that the human torso is a central medium that has served for centuries as an artistic metaphor for the deepest spiritual and emotional qualities we want to share with man. And so in recent years he began to study the torso as the main medium. This sculpture is intended to hang on the wall.
Marko Grgat
Croatia
Marko Grgat fuses his passion for clay and terracotta with the inspiration of ancient Greek sculpture and the modern touch of Ivan Mestrovic. He employs classical techniques with a contemporary spin, often finishing his creations with painting methods to enrich their texture. His works are a silent dialogue, evoking a dance of questions in the viewer's mind, resonating with history and emotion.
