"Intrusions" redefines the concept of the encounter between elements. This painting doesn't simply present colors, but documents the very act of painting itself, capturing a moment of profound transformation and clash of forces.
At the center of the composition, a symphony of deep cobalt blue and ethereal cyan collides with a powerful "intrusion" of fiery reds, volcanic oranges, and flashes of neon green and chartreuse yellow. These are not mere… smudges; they are veritable rivers of energy that wedge into one another, blending and resisting in an unparalleled ballet of color. The emerging forms are not static; they resemble crashing waves or shifting tectonic plates, evoking an alien landscape or a microscopic view of a cellular reaction.
By working with the ebb and flow of liquid pigments, I have created natural fractals and cellular formations that seem to pulsate with a life of their own.
