About this artwork
In "Breeze", my goal was to capture the serenity of the sea on a calm day, where the wind barely touches the surface of the water. I wanted textures to be the key element to convey the feeling of gentle movement, as if you could feel the fresh air and the small waves forming on the shore. The blue and green tones, combined with brushstrokes of light, represent that atmosphere of calm and freshness that I look for when I think of the sea.
Through… the layers of texture, I wanted to give a sense of depth and complexity, inviting the viewer to get lost in the details, almost as if you could touch the crests of the waves or breathe the salty air. For me, “Breeze” is a work that doesn’t just show an abstract landscape, but tries to capture a mood, a pause in time, where everything feels balanced and at peace.
