About this artwork
Life can sometimes become a chaotic environment in which we are dragged through without apparently having any type of control. That sensation opposite to Seijaku makes our heart shrink and the strength of our spirit goes out.
That is why it is so necessary that we are able to create those spaces of calm calm. Regain control by making the firm decision to stop when the speed is so high that it prevents us from enjoying the landscape around us. Life… is to be lived, not to be buried by it.
Seijaku means to stop, slow down and be calm. And that's something we have to do on our own, since no one is going to come and do it for us. I really encourage you to look for those spaces throughout the day. They don't have to be very big. You only need a few minutes to recover part of the serenity that the exhausting days that shape our routine take away.
Marta Reina combines mixed media and acrylics, immersed in the world of art since her childhood. Using various spatulas and textures, her style evokes emotional abstraction, leading the viewer towards deep introspections about nature and the human condition. Her works radiate an introspective calm, resonating with the poetic serenity of the inner landscape.
