About this artwork
DJUNA
It was full moon. One who plays with the thoughts and spreads inner unrest. Like a young monkey in a tree, thoughts jump from one branch to another, no thought is tangible. You slip away. As soon as I get involved with one to find out what he wants to tell me, he's gone again. Restless, turned up I lie on the bed. I decide to leave my bed and my bamboo hut to watch the bright spectacle on the beach. Lying on my back I'm looking at the stars… when suddenly a woman's voice asks me if I can't sleep either. At first I was frightened, nobody was to be seen far and wide and suddenly this angelic being is standing in front of me. Her soft voice, her aura cast a spell over me. She introduced herself as Djuna. I asked her if I could take a picture and she agreed. I took the photo, heard a rustling in the jungle after I turned around. Suddenly Djuna was gone
