Unexpected Interruption works in different time zones that become a warp, a time bubble that moves through space and time at the speed of light and remains anchored in the present. This multiple exposure combines the energetic impulse triggered by the artist and the composition of the different layers. A correlating event, a synchronicity that has a reciprocal effect when viewing the work and develops a pull.

Martin Ecker is a painter and photographer based in Germany whose works have been exhibited nationally. He cites space, time, and light playing a role in almost all of his compositions. In addition, Ecker's artistic practice favors experimentation with reactive processes and approaches. He has developed his own methods using living organisms in analog photography and also employs oxidation processes of precious metals his paintings.
