About this artwork
In my lithograph I mix comic book styles with futuristic elements to create a suspenseful scene that addresses the contrasts between love and catastrophe. The central theme is the emotional contrast between a couple in love and impending doom, symbolized by the sinking ship and the lurking sea monster. This work inspires reflection on the transience and power of love, even in moments of greatest danger.

Alongside his art, Kainer pursued a career as a mechanical engineer, leading him to design modern grills that merge technical expertise with creativity. A life-changing event occurred on January 27, 2022, when he survived a car accident, inspiring him to return to drawing.
