About this artwork
In my work, created through the technique of lithography, I capture a surreal encounter. The comic book style mixed with futuristic elements portrays an everyday scene - eating at a fast food restaurant - but in a bizarre twist with dinosaurs as silent observers. This ironically reflects the timelessness of our consumer culture and takes a humorous look at what once was and what could be. I hope this artwork inspires viewers to reflect on the present…

mARTin Kainer was born on March 11, 1984, in Tyrol, Austria. At a young age, he discovered his passion for drawing, which became a central part of his life. Although talented, he often took reflective breaks from his artistic journey, which ultimately shaped his creative growth. Alongside his art, Kainer pursued a career as a mechanical engineer, leading him to design modern grills that merge technical expertise with creativity. A life-changing event occurred on January 27, 2022, when he survived a car accident, inspiring him to return to drawing. His first work after this event, THE ACCIDENT, marked the start of a new creative phase.
