About this artwork
In this work, I explored the delicacy of nature against bold geometric shapes, using a vibrant color palette. The contrast between the gentle flight of the hummingbird and the abstract elements symbolizes the coexistence of the natural and human order. The diverse materials such as acrylic and oil pastel bring a rich texture, inviting deep contemplation and aesthetic appreciation. This painting will infuse energy and emotion into any living space.

Maryline Lemaitre is a French-Canadian artist who has widely exhibited her works nationally, as well as in the United States, Singapore, China, France, South Korea, and the United Kingdom. Her search for beauty links her artistic practice to moments of joy, everyday humor, and poetry.
