About this artwork
As an avid reader I am always looking for photos that express the beauty of books. I am grateful to these men for adding a human presence to the scene. This bookstore is down a alley in Downtown Amman that is next to the Grand Husseini Mosque on King Talal Street. This store is set among an alluring cluster of bookstores. I gave the store owner, the man on the left, a print of this photo. Downtown Amman is wonderful and I explore it often.
