About this artwork
In this digital work, I wanted to capture the freedom and fluidity of moving water. These legs swinging above are a metaphor for escape and lightness. The use of dynamic reflections in the water attempts to visually translate the intoxication of the moment. This piece brings a feeling of freshness and freedom to any space, inviting relaxation and escape.

« I experiment with a painting in a sensitive and sensory idea as if to summon, in the other, a body memory. »
Maude Ovize is an experienced artist based in France whose paintings have been exhibited nationally. Her distinctive figurative works often portray her subjects in water, as she believes that, "water is a matrix of life that allows the revelation of light, reflecting hidden worlds". In addition, Ovize feels that water is also a threshold, a passage from the inside to the outside, from the submerged to the underground. She most often creates with acrylics and oils on canvas.
