About this artwork
My work is a fusion between reality and fantasy, a sensorial journey through modern colors and shapes, created digitally. In the process, I blended natural and human elements, capturing fluid and deep emotions. This work expresses an embrace, an intimate and universal bond. Mauro Lacqua is an experienced painter, photographer, and sculptor based in Spain whose works have been exhibited in Italy. He describes most of his works as being created in order to soothe his inner sufferings. In his artistic process, Lacqua most often employs contrasting materials on varying supports which include paper, canvas, carboard, glass, or polyurethane.
