Down by the river is inspired by a song of Neil Young. It is music the artist listen a lot of when he start painting. It is a bit a part of the big track east in the US in the nineteenth century. Ancient stuff. Bluish, white, not too many colors add. Stretched on wooden bars. Shipped in a box, well protected. Signed front and back. Comes with a certificate designed by the artist.

Max De Winter is a dedicated Dutch artist who has exhibited his work nationally. Committed to creating visual spectacles, he rejects strict messages and theories to welcome the acts of fantasizing and imagining as his only intentions. Working within abstraction, with occasional recognizable elements, he composes paintings that are striking in their simplicity but nonetheless full of infinite contained stories.
