About this artwork
The iconic Brigitte Bardot in the movie "Les Petroleuses"! I particularly like this snapshot which for me reflects freedom, the summer wind, warm colors and a whole era. The background is made of acrylic paint and BB is cut with shears from coca cola cans. Everything is covered with polyurethane resin with the inclusion of some dried herbs...

Maxime Ledieu is a multidisciplinary artist based in France whose works have been exhibited nationally. Inspired by pop art, comics, cinema, and rock music, his diverse works explore color, movement, femininity, "the solar side", as well as the antagonism between violence and innocence. Ledieu's painterly compositions are most often created with acrylics and collage on wood or cardboard. In his sculptural pieces, he favors recycled materials such as soda or beer cans.
