About this artwork
Special order for a chalet in the mountains. The objective was to remain minimalist while being playful and related to the mountains. The illustration was made from acrylic paint and coca cola cans cut with shears then glued on a dibond. the whole was covered with polyurethane resin then sanded to find this satiny and cottony white side.

Maxime Ledieu is a multidisciplinary artist based in France whose works have been exhibited nationally. Inspired by pop art, comics, cinema, and rock music, his diverse works explore color, movement, femininity, "the solar side", as well as the antagonism between violence and innocence. Ledieu's painterly compositions are most often created with acrylics and collage on wood or cardboard. In his sculptural pieces, he favors recycled materials such as soda or beer cans.
